It all started in 1984, when Gale Holsman Jr. launched American Sweeping, Inc. with just a single sweeper and a mission to keep Kansas City’s parking lots and streets clean. Our first job was the Michael Jackson Tour in 1984 followed up by another big event the Kansas City Royals World Series in 1985.

That small operation grew into one of the largest street sweeping companies in the country, earning Gale worldwide recognition for his expertise.
